canal-side charm, quirky stay!
great location friendly staff canal view ample breakfast
I enjoyed the location. It was a short walk to the center. each morning, i watched ducks and geese from my window. That was lovely. the staff was very helpful and friendly. breakfast was more than enough too.
The gardens needed some attention. They looked a little scruffy.

canal view comfortable room
staying in the cruise cabin canal view was a lovely experience. the view of the canal and passing boats made it special. i found the room quite comfortable, a real treat after long days exploring. the staff was kind and helpful. i loved the easy walk into the heart of things.

a stay that missed the mark
thin walls sagging bed
The room felt stuffy and old. i also found that the walls were very thin. I could hear everything happening in the room next to mine. this made it hard to relax and sleep soundly at night. the bed sagged significantly in the middle, it provided little support.

unusual accommodation helpful staff free parking
The accommodation really stood out as unusual, especially because it floats on the water! check-in went so smoothly because the staff were super friendly and helpful! i even found free public parking just across from the hotel. I was lucky, as there are only three spots.
the bathroom felt a little too small, i could barely move around in it.

fresh bread great location
Breakfast had fresh bread with a range of meats. I also saw cheese and smoked salmon. The location is near the station and the town center.
The corridors lacked carpeting, I heard every step in the hotel.
